Peter J. Golba joined CBM in 2023 after working for a local Salisbury law firm since 2001. Mr. Golba joined CBM to handle the real estate/commercial/business/corporate division of the Firm and he has extensive litigation experience handling many different types of cases successfully.
Mr. Golba has been barred in Maryland and Delaware since 1997 and has decades of experience handling a vast array of legal matters covering, but not limited to municipal law, family law/divorce, insurance defense, personal injury, estate matters and civil litigation and he has been involved in representing multiple municipalities in the various surrounding counties (City of Salisbury, Wicomico County, Town of Vienna, Town of Princess Anne, Town of Snow Hill, Town of Berlin Planning and Zoning Department and the City of Pocomoke) for the past twenty-plus years. Mr. Golba is also counsel to the Wicomico County Board of Elections dating back to 2010 and is an Independent Hearing Officer for the Wicomico County Circuit Court since 2005 pertaining to domestic relations cases.
Mr. Golba earned a B.S. degree-Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1991, earned a Secondary Mathematics certification from Delaware State University in 1993 and his J.D. degree from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 1996. Mr. Golba also taught as an Adjunct Professor in the Mathematics Department at Wesley College from 1998 to 2014 and co-owned and operated a commercial landscape installation company in Delaware from 2001 to 2008 in addition to practicing law on a full-time basis.
